ACIH March Update

As we continue operationalizing our merger with AIHM, we anticipate some of you may have questions about what the ACIH-AIHM merger means for your membership.  ACIH will remain intact as a business unit within AIHM, with the ACIH Board becoming known as the ACIH Council of AIHM.

There are many synergies to be explored as we extend our reach into the global integrative healthcare community. We are in discussions about how to give members in both our organizations enhanced value as a result of the merger.  We are so appreciative of all our supporters, members, and volunteers!

Here are a few highlights from recent ACIH activity.

National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) Strategic Plan Engagement: JoAnn Yanez, ND, MPH, CAE, ACIH Chair, was invited by NCCIH to represent ACIH in a roundtable providing input to the NCCIH Strategic Plan. Deb Hill, MS, Working Group Manager, is leading an ACIH NCCIH response task force that has been compiling and providing feedback on the 2021-2025 NCCIH Strategic Plan.  Click here to read the ACIH Response to NCCIH RFI July 2020.
