PARTNERS & INITIATIVES
The Alliance to Advance Comprehensive Integrative Pain Management (AACIPM) is the first-of-its-kind multi-stakeholder collaborative, comprised of people living with pain, public and private insurers, government agencies, patient and caregiver advocates, researchers, purchasers of healthcare, policy experts, and the spectrum of healthcare providers involved in the delivery of comprehensive integrative pain management. AACIPM is an initiative, not an organization, and is built by the strength of engagement with its participating stakeholders. The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine is proud to be working with other national organizations in integrative health including Integrative Medicine for the Underserved (IM4US), the Academic Consortium of Integrative Medicine & Health (ACIMH), the Academic Collaborative of Integrative Health (ACIH) and the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC) on this important initiative.
The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine is a “Partner in Health” of the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC) – a broad coalition of healthcare professionals, consumers, patients, educators, and business leaders working to give Americans full access to high-quality integrative healthcare. For patient-centered, prevention-oriented health care to flourish, many core public policies that govern today’s healthcare system must be fundamentally redesigned. It is IHPC’s mission to advocate for public policy that eliminates barriers to health. Learn more about IHPC or DONATE here.

Climate change is one of the most important issues of our time and has major health and healthcare implications. As some of the most respected professionals in America, health professionals have a crucial part to play in raising awareness of the public about these issues. To facilitate the medical community’s awareness raising efforts, the Medical Society Consortium on Climate Change and Health (the Consortium) brings together associations representing approximately 500,000 clinical practitioners. As a member of the consortium, AIHM represents our members voices as advocated for climate change at the national level. The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine represents the integrative health community and our members in this very important work.
