Practical Tools for Integrative Clinicians – What We Have Learned in the Last Year
March 24-27, 2021
Healthcare providers worldwide have put their physical and mental health at risk as they battle the COVID-19 pandemic. This is exacerbated by the often challenging position of integrative Healthcare providers seeking to balance allopathic and integrative medicine. In addition to navigating these clinical challenges, practitioners are facing risks of adverse health effects due to the restrictions implemented such as quarantine measures, reduced social contact, and self-isolation.
How should integrative healthcare providers navigate this ever changing challenging environment while still providing top-notch care? As a community of healthcare providers, advocates and consumers, we know that we need to mobilize and be the change we want to see during these challenging times. It is our opportunity to connect with people from all over the world to learn the latest information on the science of health and healing, network to move the integrative health movement forward, and be in a nurturing environment supported by our colleagues and friends.
Join us as we bring together thought leaders to engage in powerful conversation through a highly interactive learning experience, designed to provide evidence-based solutions for wellness, improved professional satisfaction and patient care.

The Contribution of Anthroposophic Medicine to the Integrative Treatment of COVID-19 Patients
The COVID-19 pandemic is testing healthcare systems around the world, encouraging the development of new treatments and care approaches. Anthroposophic doctors have gathered numerous lessons in inpatient and outpatient care of COVID-19 patients, integrating both conventional and specific anthroposophic treatments. These experiences have led to the development of best practices in the integrative treatment of COVID-19 and its “long-COVID” symptoms.
Being an integrative multimodal treatment system, Anthroposophic Medicine (AM) extends conventional medicine with its holistic view on the human being, health and disease.
In this webinar, anthroposophic doctors from different continents share their experiences in the treatment of COVID-19 in diverse healthcare settings from inpatient, intensive care and outside ICU, to outpatient care, treating during both the acute disease stage as well as long term, post-COVID-19 symptoms. Presenters will outline what they perceive as the added value of Anthroposophic Medicine to state-of-the-art conventional medical care. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session.
Objectives:
- Show how an integrative medicine approach can contribute to the treatment of COVID-19 patients
- Share the experience with specific AM treatments
- Raise the visibility of AM to other IM practitioners
- Contribute to exchange among different complementary and integrative medicine systems
Target Audience:
- Integrative medicine practitioners from different backgrounds
- Any interested health professionals
- Health policy makers, decision makers, and members of civil society organizations
Webinar Set Up:
- Language: English with Spanish interpretation.
- Technology: Zoom Webinar with Spanish/English simultaneous interpretation
- Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
Date: Wednesday, 24th of March, 18.00 – 20.15 CET.
