Description: Connor Whole Health is a free-standing department within University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio. As such, it presents an interesting model for service development and integration into a large, academic hospital system. With approximately 60 employees and service lines including acupuncture, chiropractic, massage therapy, integrative medicine consults, expressive arts, mind-body/wellness care, and research, numerous paths to integration have been explored. This talk will give an overview of the structure of the practice, as well as strategies and lessons learned surrounding billing and reimbursement, credentialing, integration with other service lines, management of patient volume, and hospital impact.
