Social Impact Scholars
AIHM Social Impact Clinical Scholars Program
Launched in 2019, the AIHM Social Impact Clinical Scholars Program awards scholarships for the AIHM Fellowship to health care practitioners working in underserved communities. To date, AIHM has given $672,000 in scholarships to 27 clinicians working in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and the VA. Our partners include IM4US, the California Primary Care Association, Live Well San Diego, Northwest Regional Primary Care Association, Community Health Association of the Mountain Plains States, and others. AIHM is committed to working in collaboration with local, national and international organizations for collective social impact. In 2021, AIHM continues our Social Impact Scholars Program and has committed to give back to Black, Indigenous and People of Color communities. Scholarships will be given to both clinicians from those communities or clinicians that serve BIPOC communities.
