Hello, I am originally from Arizona and studied nursing at the University of Arizona. After finishing my undergraduate studies, I worked for Scripps, in Chula Vista, with lower socioeconomic and diverse patients. Realizing I could offer more, I obtained a family nurse practitioner degree from Azusa Pacific University because I wanted to dedicate myself to providing high quality healthcare to underserved communities by improving healthcare disparities. I now work at Family Health Centers, an FQHC in San Diego, to continue to treat lower-socioeconomic patients. I am now also continuing my education in integrative medicine through AIHM where I can provide multifactorial care to my underserved patients.

“Through AIHM, I get to learn multifactorial care to treat the whole person and address the underlying cause of their disease. I not only treat my patients after the disease has occurred, but get to learn how to prevent disease and keep my patients healthy through integrative medicine.”
